New Jersey: Tell committee to advance the smoke-free casinos bill

New Jersey: Tell Senate committee to vote YES on smoke-free casinos bill

On January 29, 2024, the New Jersey Senate Health Committee is expected to vote on S.1493, the bill to make New Jersey's casinos smoke free. The committee must approve the bill before the full Seante can consider it.

The tobacco industry is lobbying hard to kill or weaken the bill. We have to make sure that a comprehensive bill advances, one that protects all casino workers and patrons from deadly secondhand smoke! Members of the committee – Senators Vitale, Singleton, Burgess, Henry, McKnight, Mukherji, Schepisi and Singer – need to hear from us ASAP.
