Our First National Youth Advocate of the Year, 1996
After taking on youth smoking in her community, Anna became the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids’ national spokesperson when she was just in the 8th grade. She spoke on behalf of Tobacco-Free Kids across the country and had the honor of introducing President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore at a White House event in support of tobacco regulations. Today, Anna is fighting for the health and well-being of her 13- year old son and encourages him to use his voice to fight for the issues he cares about most.
"The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids taught me to speak truth to power." — Anna Santiago Kiley
