Washington, DC — Governor Tommy Thompson's record in Wisconsin raises concern about his commitment to reducing the toll from tobacco. Now that he has been nominated to lead the nation's top health agency, we are hopeful that he will work with the public health community to address the leading preventable cause of death in the United States.
