Vice President, Finance

Vlad Ilic is Vice President, Finance, and leads the finance and accounting functions for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and its Global Health Advocacy Incubator, ensuring strong financial stewardship in support of global public health advocacy. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in nonprofits and international development, overseeing finance, accounting, operations, compliance and financial systems for complex global programs. 

Before joining Tobacco-Free Kids, Ilic served as International Controller at Winrock International, managing global financial operations across programs in more than 40 countries. He previously held senior leadership roles at Blumont and International Relief and Development, including Vice President, Program Operations, and Acting Chief Financial Officer. Having grown up in the Balkans during the turbulent 1990s, Ilic began his career supporting humanitarian assistance programs responding to the region’s crises – an experience that shaped his enduring commitment to mission-driven work.

Ilic moved to the United States in 2004 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Phoenix. He also holds certifications in internal controls, project management and process improvement.
