This resource provides information about how different countries and jurisdictions regulate e-cigarettes. Regulation falls into three categories:
- Ban on the sale of e-cigarettes
- Regulation as medicinal/pharmaceutical products
- Regulation using WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) measures
The resource then provides recommendations on how to regulate e-cigarettes using strong WHO FCTC measures and examples of countries implementing each policy measure.
