On May 2, 2013, the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids celebrated another year of life-saving progress against tobacco at our 17th Annual Youth Advocates of the Year Awards Gala in Washington, DC at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Together with over 450 business, philanthropic and government leaders, we celebrated the accomplishments of outstanding young people and tobacco control advocates from across the United States and around the world. The night was filled with poignant moments and a few surprises as we marked progress toward creating a future free of the death and disease caused by tobacco use, the number one cause of preventable death.
We want to thank all of our honorees, guests, partners and vendors for making our gala event a memorable success.
